Responsibilities
- Process Trade related products and handling Inward & Outward collections including settlements.
- Responsible for prompt and accuracy of:
- issuing Import L/C and Amendment.
- processing Export L/C advising/amendment & confirmation
- check documents under Import and Export L/C
- processing Inward and Outward Collection and settlement
- computing fees on transactions and billing to customers
- processing export bills negotiation/settlement
- processing Bills Discounting/TR Financing/Forfaiting.
- following up on unpaid bills and the outstanding fees
- making payment to customer as per instruction
- reporting on Trade activities.
- handling new tasks as and when required.
- issuing Banker’s Guarantees as and when required.
- Assess market prices of goods to find out if further information should be obtained where contract price differs significantly from market price.
- ensure that customer's application forms submitted are correctly filled up, checked and signatures duly verified. Any alterations are chopped and signed by applicant.
- transaction requires bank's commitment must be approved by management or customer’s limit is available before processing.
- payments for outstanding items are credited to our nostro accounts with good value
- documents, which are settled, scanned and are properly filed
- transaction’s name cleared with no OFAC hit.
- accurately performed Vessel Tracking system.
- Provide quality customer services.
- Ensure transactions through system are correctly inputted and accounting entries accurately posted.
- Comply to branch policy, procedure and regulation on: KYC, AML, CFT and GRC at all times.
- Comply with all the internal policies and procedures as well as the relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree/Diploma with Trade Service/Finance experiences in Banks is preferred.
- At least 5 years of trade finance experiences in Banks is preferred
- Must be able to handle import and export transactions
- Meticulous with working knowledge of AML/CFT and other regulations in trade finance is preferred
