Main Roles & Responsibilities
Assist Main Teacher to Implement and facilitate all aspects of daily teaching and student care activities for children aged 7 to 12 years old.
Basic Working hours: Weekdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
(Part-time / extended timing for the suitable candidate)
Responsibilities:
Assist Main Teacher in the following:
· Supervise daily students’ programs such as fetching students and meal times, etc.
· Plan weekly and prepare daily lesson plans for students
· Supervise students to do their homework (including Mandarin school work), learn their spelling, and study for their tests.
· Provide daily tuition after homework supervision.
· Conduct classroom activities that are fun and have developmental objectives (such as public speaking, drama and art & craft)
· Encourage students' participation in classroom activities.
· Organise school holiday activities and programs.
· Handle administrative work (such as sales, collection of fees, and collection of forms) and upkeep of centre premises.
Requirements:
· Singaporeans and PRs only
· Qualification: Nitec holders, ‘N’ levels, ‘O’ Level or other Statement of Attainment, modular certificate or equivalent
· Student care/tutoring experience is advantageous, but those without relevant experience are welcome to apply
· Energetic and independent character
· Possess positive working attitude
· Passion to work with children & inspire children to learn
· Possess good communication skills & maintain good rapport with parents / guardians
· Effective team player
· Patient and passionate for young children
