Position Overview:
The Senior Digital Content Strategist will lead the development and execution of content strategies that align with our business goals and brand voice. This role requires a visionary thinker with a deep understanding of digital trends, content marketing, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for creating compelling and impactful content.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support marketing objectives and enhance brand awareness.
- Analyse market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscapes to inform content planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategies with overall business goals.
Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation, editing, and optimization of high-quality content across various digital platforms (website, blog, social media, email, etc.).
- Ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Manage content calendars, workflows, and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of content.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of content creators, editors, and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance and feedback to ensure the team produces engaging, relevant, and high-quality content.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize content and improve engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
SEO and SEM Integration:
- Work closely with SEO and SEM specialists to integrate best practices into content strategies.
- Ensure content is optimized for search engines to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, sales, and customer service teams, to align content with business needs.
- Manage relationships with external partners, such as agencies, freelancers, and influencers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar
- 5+ years of experience in digital content strategy, content marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, and multimedia content production.
Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic web development principles.
