Responsibilities:
- Assists Manager (QA & TE) in preparing and updating documentation for the license renewal audits conducted by the Licensing and Accreditation Unit, Ministry of Health and as required for external accreditation
- Supports the administrative functions of the department.
- These include:
- * Reviewing of work processes on the ground
- * Working with relevant process owners to formulate and/ or update standard operating policies and procedures of PLS.
- Assisting in formulating and/ or updating work instructions.
- * Updating PLS quality records and document control masterist.
- * Conducting internal audits to check on compliance on the ground, after changes made to work processes and as and when required Following up actions/ recommendations after internal quality audits and external surveillance audits
- Maintains the laboratory safety for PLS.
- Works in conjunction with the business office, technical and systems team of PLS in special projects as assigned by Manager, Quality Management, CEO and DOO, PLS.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in any or related science field of study
- Min. 3 years of working QC experience in a clinical lab environment handling licence renewal, audit & accreditation
- Good technical knowledge in lab medicine preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Good interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
