ICT Executive cum Trainer (MOE School)

Role:

This is a full-time, onsite, ICT Executive cum Trainer Role in MOE School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with the HOD ICT to develop a training resources/programme in an MOE school (nearest MRTSerangoon MRT & Lorong Chuan MRT) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

A. ASSETS MANAGEMENT

1. Assist to update all ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV stock books to meet both MOE ITD and School Fixed assets requirements.

2. Assist to conduct stock-checks at least twice a year for all ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV inventory according to school Fixed Assets list.

3. Assist in condemnation & replacement for obsolete / out of warranty / faulty ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV equipment.

4. Assist in tracking of loans of ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV equipments, e.g. digital cameras, tablets, visualisers, CD players etc.

5. Assist in the maintenance of ICT systems and work closely with vendors for fixes and upgrade to deliver optimal system performance.

6. Document newly acquired ICT & AV resources in a systematic and organised manner.

7. Organise and maintain ICT inventory (school-owned devices & equipment) & AV resources in a systematic and neat manner in various allocated rooms.

B. ICT & AV SUPPORT

8. Ensure service requests for ICT and AV support are attended to promptly.

9. Set up ICT gadgets/ tools such as Swivl robots and interactive TVs to support school activities and events.

10. Provide additional ICT support in areas covered by ICT Manager/ Associate and Desktop Engineers, if necessary, such as assist teachers in ICT technical issues during classroom lessons and resolving projectors/ visualisers issues.

11. Administer online surveys and compile reports.

C. 3D-PRINTING

12. Assist to set-up and maintain 3D-printer(s).

13. Train students and teachers on how to operate and use 3D-printer and flashprint software for 3D-printing.

D. APPLIED LEARNING PROGRAMME (ALP)

14. Assist with inventory upkeeping and stock-take for ALP.

15. Maintenance of Makerspace at the library.

16. Assist students with troubleshooting and using of maker equipment at the Makerspace.

E. PLD-related Administration

17. Wiping data from student Personal Learning Devices (PLD)

18. Basic troubleshooting for PLD

19. Handling basic functions on Apple School Manager (ASM)

F. CO-FACILITATION (CCA, Staff & Students area)

20. Assisting teachers and/or vendor in Info-Comm Club training by acting as a co-facilitator for photography and videography courses.

21. Guide and mentor students in areas of photography and videography.

22. Provide technical assistance to teachers’ professional development such as assisting in videoing teachers’ lessons.

23. Conduct ICT training for staff (including basic computing skill for non-teaching staff).

G. OTHERS (School related)

24. Provide ICT support for school official events / functions e.g. photography, live feed videography, video production, setting up of equipment for projection, production of Multi-media presentations for school events including Graduation Ceremonies and School Awards Day etc.

25. Maintain digital photo and video albums for the school.

26. Design, update and maintain school website.

27. Assist teachers to prepare school publications including videos, posters, banners etc.

28. Assist the school in any other areas related to ICT & AV as assigned by HOD/SH ICT or P/VPs (including design and printing of certificates).


Job Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of experience in ICT & AV inventory management and maintenance in a school environment.

2. Demonstrated proficiency in training others and working on both Windows & IOS platforms.

3. Proven photography and videography skills

4. Demonstrated proficiency in multi-cam live feed videography

5. Experience in supporting school(s) in photograpy and mutli-cam live feed videography

6. At least 5 years of experience in conducting co-facilitation during CCA sessions on photography and videography.

7. Experience in setting up 3D-printer, using and training others to use 3D-printer

8. Familiarity or experience in using M5Go and microbit

9. Experience in operating the ClassVR goggles

10. Experience in operating the Swivl robots

11. Experience in setting up and maintaining a Makerspace

12. Experience in using MacOS and Apple School Manager (ASM)

13. Experience in designing and building websites

14. Experience in resolving ICT technical issues, e.g. projector, visualiser, apple TV

15. Experience in assisting to manage user accounts for SLS and DMA (e.g., reset password and unlock accounts)

16. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different levels of staff in schools and external vendors.

Summary:

Contract Period:From 2 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.

Working hours:

· Monday to Wednesday: 0730 to 1700, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

·Thursday (CCA day): 0830h to 1800, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

·Friday: 0730 to 1630, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

·Service is not required on normal Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays unless an official school events / functions fall on a Saturday
