Computer Education cum Multimedia Services for School (Tanglin Road)

Contract Period: 1 Jan 2025 - 31 Dec 2025 with option to extend until 31 Dec 2026

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and teaching of lower secondary computer education program for secondary school students in the following areas:

1. Microsoft Office Certification
2. Programming language (e.g. Python, Swift using Swift Playgrounds or equivalent online platforms)
3. Computational Thinking, reasoning and problem-solving using ICT equipment (e.g. Python using M5GO, LEGO Mindstorms, Micro:Bit etc)
4. School Teaching and Learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook, etc.)
5. AI tools for e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT etc.
6. And others relevant applications

• Assist in training students in Infocomm Club in creating videos, graphic posters and animations
• Provide support and coordinate competitions for students related to multimedia
• Provide maintenance for photography equipment in school
• Provide the technical support and service in maintaining the school website using relevant software
• Provide support for school programmes and events:

1. Collateral materials for school programmes, events and external collaborations
2. Photography and videography support
3. Multimedia resources for teaching and learning

• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proficient in conducting ICT-related training and workshops in the following areas as well as proficient in video production:

1. Microsoft Office Suites (including Teams and OneNote Class Notebook)
2. Video editing
3. Coding
4. AI literacy

• Preferably 3 years working experience in providing computer enrichment program in a school environment
• Proficient in:

1. Microsoft Office suites
2. Designing software (Pro-Create, Canva, etc)
3. Video creation software (Capcut, iMovie, GarageBand, Adobe suites etc.)
4. Programming language (e.g. Python, Swift using Swift Playgrounds or equivalent online platforms)
5. School Teaching and Learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook, etc.)
6. School website content development through Isomer

• Has experience in various multimedia and programming projects
• Has initiative and able to work independently and good team player
