What you will be working on
• Develop and build the agency’s image through positive media relations
• Manage in day-to-day media communications & media monitoring functions
• Assist the Team Lead to plan, develop and implement communications plans to strengthen corporate image and build strong positive reputation for the agency and its programmes
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop media materials on SSG’s announcements and events.
• Media management of SSG’s issues, including proactive pitching of positive media stories
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage crisis communications and issues
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualifications in related discipline
• Up to 7 years of relevant work experience in public and media relations
• Strategic thinker and able to develop innovative strategies to achieve outcomes
• Detailed, meticulous and able to identify newsworthy angles
• Able to work with all levels in an organisation
• Able to manage diverse views and seek consensus through open discussion
• Candidates without the required qualifications but with relevant experience are welcome to apply
• This is a 1-year non-renewable position
Salary:
$3800 to $6000
