Responsibilities
• Guide the Scrum or equivalent team (including any subcontractors that may be engaged to be part of the agile development team using Scrum or equivalent), to ensure that the deliverables are in accordance with the Epic/User Stories.
• Ensure all Scrum events take place and kept within the timebox.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Remove impediments for the Scrum team or equivalent team.
• Coach the Scrum team or equivalent team on Agile practices and values.
• Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes.
• Ensure that all review discussions are recorded and agreed with the stakeholders so that there is proper-recorded trace of decisions made by the Scrum or equivalent team.
• Ensure that there is consistency and uniformity in the different work produced by Scrum team or equivalent team.
• Ensure that confidentiality and security is observed throughout.
• Maintain records of all development and maintenance activities including proper accounting and administrative records of all services performed during the Project Period.
• Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.
• Prepare necessary report artifacts required by the governance team.
Requirements
• At least three (3) years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent in Agile projects.
• First Level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM 1, or equivalent).
• For the avoidance of doubt, the role of a Scrum Master is not the traditional Project Manager, but a facilitator of Scrum processes. Therefore, the Scrum Master must have a good understanding of the Scrum framework and the ability to coach in its subtleties.
• Completed projects or deployed systems of large scope and scale.
• Good knowledge of the full stack development process.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis.
