Responsibilities
- Play an active business partner role in engaging the employees and line managers in ensuring that employee needs and queries are looked into frequently
- Responsible for day-to-day HR operations for the business entity assigned which includes but is not limited to Employee Orientation, employee queries, leave, benefits, claims, work pass renewals, staff confirmation, performance management, exit interviews and clearance, etc
- Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that HR and employee information are provided timely and accurately
- Assist with the preparation of the Orientation pack materials and ensure that all Orientation information is accurate and updated timely
- Obtain all relevant and required personnel information from new and existing employees and ensure that personnel information in the HR system is updated and accurate. Create and main the p-file of all assigned employees under one’s care
- Responsible for the announcement and coordination with the relevant dept on the logistic arrangement for the new staff, etc
- Update and maintain useful HR info databases (Headcount/Manpower related, personnel profiles, etc)
- Provide accurate HR reports on a timely basis to the respective personnel
- Maintain an effective and user-friendly document control and filing system for the dept
- Participate in continuous improvement of HR work processes and create SOPs and documentation
- Provide support to junior members/other team members as and when required
- Support in all ad-hoc and HR projects and activities as required
Requirements
- Min Diploma in HRM or Business Administration related studies
- Min 2-3 years of working experience in a similar function preferably in a similar industry
- Good interpersonal and strong communication and writing skills
- Detailed, meticulous with strong sense of confidentiality
- Pro-active, resourceful and self-motivated and task oriented
- Positive and able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
- People and customer service oriented with strong passion in Employee engagement
- Team player and willingness to learn
- Good knowledge on Employment Act and MOM regulations and practices
- Good in MS Office applications particularly MS Words and Excel
