JOB REQUIREMENT / RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) Primary Function
1. To assist the production Manager in leading a group of leaders, Technician, Material Handler, and operators to manage production activities to achieve daily output and quality.
2. Execute production plan according to demand..
(B) Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work closely with superior to implement Production Work Order/planning.
2. Ensure quality parts are produced accordingly to customer requirements.
3. Ensure plan is executed accordingly and inform superior if plan is changed.
4. Notify superior of inferior product quality and provide support to resolve quality issues.
5. Assist to provide solutions and improvements for quality-related issues.
6. Setup Mold, start up for production according to procedures.
7. Ensure setting of Mold according to Moulding Data Sheet and correct cycle time
8. Ensure all safety aspects are observed through the manufacturing processes.
9. Control scrap in production not to exceed the targeted goal.
10. Ensure all Work Order are closed according to Production Planning
11. Supervise the packing and packaging process to ensure conform to requirements.
12. Provide training to upgrade staffs' skills and knowledge.
13. Work closely with relevant departments to resolve quality, processes, tooling issues.
14. Able to carry out other duties as assigned.
15. Maintain good 5S housekeeping.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS & ABILITY
1. Diploma or NTC2 in any Engineering-related discipline, possess good leadership, self-motivated, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
2. Basic Injection molding knowledge
3. At least 3 years’ experience/knowledge in Manufacturing industry.
4. Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, Is added advantage
5. Results-oriented, meticulous and a self-motivated team player
6. Basic computer knowledge i.e. MS -Excel skill is needed
