Job Scope:
This role involves creating and executing strategic network plans while cultivating alliances and partnerships to create a competitive edge in the container shipping sector. This position demands expertise in global shipping dynamics, strategic planning, and effective relationship building.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement comprehensive network strategies that increase operational effectiveness, boost shipping routes, and service dependability.
- Analyse industry patterns, demand projections, and rival undertakings to pinpoint prospects for network growth and enhancement.
- Manage and negotiate partnerships agreements and maintain a strong relationship with alliances to ensure business goals are met.
- Oversee cross-functional initiatives for partnership development, new service introductions, and network optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Maritime, Logistics or any related discipline is a plus.
- More than 10 years of experience in Network planning or Alliance/Partnership management with trade background in a shipping liner is highly advantageous.
- Individuals with strong negotiation and people management skills is a plus.
- Proven experience and achievements in network planning and strategies is highly advantageous.
- Individuals with strong leadership and commercial acumen is a plus.
