Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our Sense ID team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior designs for both residential and commercial spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, and managing projects from conception to completion. The Interior Designer will work closely with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of design plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to discuss their requirements, preferences, and budget.
Conduct site visits to assess the space and gather necessary measurements and information.
- Design Development:
Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials.
Create detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using design software.
Select and specify materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes that align with the design concept and client’s vision.
- Project Management:
Prepare project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained.
Manage the procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Conduct site inspections to ensure the project is progressing according to plan and standards.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with the design team, providing guidance and support to junior designers.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
Present design concepts and updates to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Research and Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and technologies.
Incorporate sustainable and innovative design practices into projects.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to build industry knowledge and relationships.
