The NTU Centre in Computational Technologies for Finance (CCTF) is a newly created Pan-University Centre co-managed by the College of Engineering (CoE) and Nanyang Business School (NBS), to coordinate and support the University’s Blockchain initiatives, activities and programs.
The Project Officer will be a key supporting staff at CCTF, responsible for managing the communications and engagement activities of the Centre, as well as supporting the administration and planning of the activities/initiatives of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and plan the marketing communications effort of CCTF including the production of publicity materials as well as management of CCTF website and social media accounts.
- To support in the planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of all CCTF projects and initiatives.
- To plan, organize and manage meetings and events (including technical symposiums, innovation challenges, seminars/webinars, talks, etc), providing the necessary support in marketing communications, coordination and logistics.
- To provide administrative support for the day-to-day operations.
- To support student management for Graduate Programs.
- Other adhoc tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Motivated self-starter who is comfortable working with a team, as well as independently, under tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
- Good research skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and strong organisational skills.
- Creative with a good eye for aesthetics.
- Experience and interest in Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies for applications in diverse domains will be preferred.
An initial 1-year contract will be offered, with an option to renew for 2 additional years upon satisfactory performance.
