Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Inspector to ensure our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The QA/QC Inspector will conduct inspections, test processes, and oversee quality control operations to maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
The successful candidate must be operationally hands-on, organized, highly motivated and able to work with a disciplined approach towards people and work.
What a typical day looks like:
- Use measuring equipment/machine to measure the products, such as Caliper, Tensile machine etc.
- Perform In-process Inspections to ensure all the measurements met specifications.
- Conduct Incoming Inspection on raw materials to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Conduct Outgoing Inspection on finished products.
- Preparation of Inspection reports on daily basis and inputting data into the quality database.
- Ensure calibrated equipment and measuring instrument are used and discard any that do not
- meet requirements
- Train new production operator on quality control measures.
- Conduct random audit to ensure all quality procedures are adhered.
- Highlight QA Engineer if found any non-compliance to issue NCR.
- Monitor the preventive actions and ensure no recurrence of quality issue.
- Any other job assigned from time to time by superior and when required.
- Verify/monitor the rework and resort jobs on the On Hold lots and provide update to QA Engineer
Expected skills needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent;certificate in quality control, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQI, CQT) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and quality testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
