YOUR MISSION _________
AIRPORT MANAGER
- Reports to Retail Manager
- Oversee Counter Managers (CMs) and Beauty Consultants (BCs) in Changi Airport
- Role will still be as per retail shifts with 80% of his/her time based in Changi & 20% in Office
Brand Sales & Image
- Drive and motivate counter managers and beauty consultants to achieve monthly brand sales targets
- Understand the counter business and sales trends in order to detect growth opportunities
- Work on monthly promotions, incentives and GWP plan to help drive sales, while maintaining brand standards
- Completes weekly external reports to the Brand and participates in various projects as and when required.
- Develops in-store relations to build and uphold positive rapport between Operator and Brand
Supervision and Team Management of Counter Managers and Beauty Consultants
- Communicate effectively corporate strategy & guidelines to the team
- Work closely and effectively with the internal team and operator’s team of sales staff, supervisors and managers
- Communicate monthly launch plan, HPPs & pop-up projects to CMs and ensure smooth execution & delivery.
- Ensure all CMs are delivering in alignment on all Dior guidelines, operational standards & business performance (i.e. terminal sales results, BC appraisal and performance management, manpower coverage, incentive communication, stocks & inventory management etc.).
- Serve as a role model, work with counter managers and training team to ensure selling techniques / product knowledge and demonstration adheres to the brand standards and also effectively translates into customer conversion
- Evaluates and monitors performance of Beauty Consultants closely with Counter Managers and Training team, and identify areas for development to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques which drives performance
- Work with Retail Manager in recruitment of Beauty Consultants; Main liaison with promoter agencies on recruitment, roster and performance management of promoter workforce
Counter & Product Management
- Guarantee the respect of Dior brand image in all aspects especially in terms of Visual Merchandising display and Presentation Stock Levels
- Ensure overall counter image/aesthetic adhere to brand philosophy/ guidelines and that all counters are updated with stocks and testers
- Develop main framework for Counter Managers to ensure housekeeping, stock management and tester and counter tools supplies are closely monitored
- Ensures Counter Managers are on top of merchandising and display guidelines at all counters
- Provides feedback to support the development and increase of sales, clearing of slow-moving items and damages
- Work closely with Counter Managers to evaluate the effectiveness of communications tools to allow consumers to understand in-store highlights
- Conduct counter coaching to Beauty Consultants and Promoters where necessary
- Stocks, Inventory & Assortment Management through order proposal preparation to retailer, stock on hand analysis, timeliness of best sellers and novelties on counter, rebalancing stock between terminals to maximize stock optimization, action plan on slow-movers & quarterly returns liaison with retailer to maximize stock productivity etc.)
Promotion Coordination
- Ensure stocks, testers and GWP are sufficiently allocated to the promotion counter
- Work with field staff to execute promotion setup timely and effectively

- Work with Training Team to provide basic product knowledge introduction and counter coaching to promoters
- Provide regular feedback to Retail Manager regarding overall promotion sales and customer feedback
Competitor Analysis and Retailer Management
- Keep abreast of competitor activities such as on-counter events, HPPs, outposts and media investments, and provide monthly feedback
- Build rapport with retailers and get regular qualitative feedback on store trends and pax spending habits
- Communicate effectively with retailer on day to day operational and administrative matters for Total Changi
- Deliver on administrative tasks: CM roster planning, monthly incentive planning under RM supervision, BC sales productivity report, monthly sales reporting etc
- Consolidate monthly competition & retailer feedback, bi-monthly novelties and key initiatives tracking
