Responsibilities
- Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy.
- Create a shopper’s journey with clear retail navigation.
- Communicate merchandising presentation directives to stores.
- Visit outlet counters to perform and maintain visual displays and merchandising, and perform visual merchandising checks.
- Monitor the sell-through of the display items to achieve effective visual merchandising.
- Create and maintain visual displays in the outlets to accommodate promotional events and general activity.
- To roll out graphics to outlets, detailing allocations and use of specific graphics and display schemes.
- Come up with planograms for retail outlets and events.
- Producing presentation drawing in 3D.
- Coordinate Sale and POS graphic strategies.
- Co-ordinate with suppliers on all renovation and concept corners.
- Liaise with suppliers for purchasing of props, display tools and POP materials.
- Design and construct props for display and visual merchandising.
- Assist on outlet counters designs for renovation for all retail outlets and new ones.
- Review on technical drawings for renovations.
- Monitor costs and work within budget.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Visual Merchandising / Arts.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Visual Merchandising in retail/service industry.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to understand how to attract, engage and motivate customers to maximise sales.
- Strong artistic ability and creative flair for merchandising presentation.
- Enthusiasm and passion with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to work as part of a team; professional attitude.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Able to learn quickly, multitask and use initiative.
