The Role:
Ethos BeathChapman is collaborating with a Data Center company with presence across SEA and is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer/Facilities Engineer where you will ensure the continuous operation of critical infrastructure for Data Center Operations.
Requirements:
1. Responsible for routine maintenance for facility equipment
- Provide routine checks and readings report at Data Centr
- To be on 24x7 standby for any facilities related emergency and may need to attend onsite if necessary, including weekend or public holiday
2. Record down Power and Racks utilization for at Data Centers
3. Responsible for Data Centre provisioning (racks, power, cooling)
4. Handle incident report and incident review
5. Handle all the maintenance contract, ensure all the equipment is well maintenance by direct OEM (Original Equip Manufacturer)
- Supervise works being carried out by contractors and vendors for Data Center’s facilities.
Escort Vendor to service our rectifier located at 3 x Cable Landing Station (CLS) (Quarterly Maintenance) - Conduct EOP with appointed Shift Engineer
6. Coordinate with vendor on A&A (additions & alterations) project works, ensure the works does not impact any operation
Qualification:
- Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with Data Center experience preferred.
- Knowledge in critical data center operations (high megawatts DC, MOP & SOP experience, UPS, STS, DRUPS, CRAC, PDU, Chillers, BMS, fire protection systems, HVAC),
- Experience in dealing with customers and vendors management.
- Professional certificate - Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) preferred.
- Will be working with Mandarin speaking clients. Knowledge of Mandarin is essential for internal & external communications and engagement.
