Job Description:
- Manage and supervise all activities related to laboratory testing, which includes maintaining laboratory equipment performance, developing operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures;
- Ensuring staff compliance; certifying instrument performance; arranging equipment replacement, service, and repair
- Capable of conducting laboratory tests, interpreting test data and preparing reports and summaries, in which includes training and mentoring of lab sta, so that to be competent and comply with industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples
- Manage and supervise all activities related to any research related activities as may be assigned by Geonamics.
- Laboratory technician may also assist as site technician when laboratory work is slow.
- Perform basic geotechnical / soil laboratory testing based on standard methods
- Visually classifying soil samples, preparing samples and performing water content, particle-size distribution, Atterberg limits and compaction tests, etc.
- Any other Ad-hoc work as assigned.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or other related engineering / science field
- Minimum 2 years working experiences in related field.
- Good written and communication skills.
