Job Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated System Engineer to interpret system requirements, design solutions, and implement them effectively. This role requires strong system architecture skills to generate comprehensive documentation. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the System Engineer will engage with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors, focusing on delivering mission-critical autonomous solutions for maritime vessels.
Job Responsibilities
- Translate system-level requirements and use cases into verifiable subsystem and component-level requirements.
- Design, source, and integrate subsystems, evaluating hardware and software solutions.
- Collaborate with industry partners to assess and customize solutions to meet requirements.
- Work closely with the internal engineering development team to define necessary solutions.
- Troubleshoot systems and propose solutions to ensure high system availability.
- Develop and execute integration and test plans.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Communicate system design and implementation progress with customers.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills with robust reasoning ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of conveying technical details to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical engineering is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
