Job Description & Requirements
- Prepare quotation, delivery order, permit declaration, email to customers or overseas agent.
- Co-ordination and communication with various parties (including customers, carrier, co-loaders and overseas agents).
- Perform vessel space reservation (via phone, email, etc.)
- Monitoring and following up of import/export shipment and checking shipment status regularly.
- Attending phone calls from customers.
- Arranging local handling services.
- To keep all customer records and documents orderly filed and stored ensuring easy access and traceability.
- Handle costings and ensure prompt invoicing to customers & system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by superior.
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in freight, supply chain or logistics.
- Knowledge of incoterms is a must.
- Knowledge of permit declaration.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Able to manage heavy workflow efficiently and well-organised.
- Interpersonal Skills.
- Able to work independently and initiative.
- Team player with sense of urgency
- 5-day work week.
