Senior Manager Valuation Control

Job Summary

· Establish robust valuation control procedures for the Group’s banking investments which include private equity, private credit, loans and venture capital.

· Ensure justifiable fair valuation assessment in accordance with IFRS, Group financial accounting policy and management reporting principles.

· Perform periodic valuation reviews for the portfolios covered.

· Assist in preparation of metrics and commentary for publication of periodic valuation packs and participate in various valuation governance committees and forums.

· Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders including business heads, deal teams, risk, other finance teams and auditors.

· Provide valuation support including advice on bespoke transactions, new product initiatives, deal pipeline and potential impact on valuations and respond to requests for ad-hoc analysis and reports.

· Support the development and maintenance of a robust control environment and adherence to all group financial control and risk policies.

· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

· Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the Group. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

· Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

· Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Finance / Business / Accounting background OR Master degree in a quantitative subject (CFA candidate or CFA Charterholder is a plus).

· 10+ years of valuations experience in private equity, private credit, loans and venture capital.

· Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.

· Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high quality output.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both and verbally.

· Analytical and challenging mindset.

· Lateral thinker who is a strong team player with ability to work independently
