Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead project teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
- Procure vendors from China region for setting up a network for a financial technology industry.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Implement best practices and methodologies for project management.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track expenses and provide financial reports & identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Oversee the deployment of network infrastructure and financial technology solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems & troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
- 3 -7 years of experience in project management within the financial or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of financial networks and technology.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Experience in setting up network technology for FinTech industry.
- Experience in procuring vendors from China region.
- Experience in managing an offshore team to set up a network for financial technology industry.
- Experience in working in a startup environment or social media company.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Business level Mandarin speaking is required as the candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders, vendors and counterparts on daily basis.
