We are currently working closely with one of the largest developers in Singapore which has active involvement in mega-sized development projects across the region and would like to seek a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Project Management to join our esteemed real estate development team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing sizable projects, handling multiple projects concurrently, and leading teams with diverse hierarchies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of our mega-sized development projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Leadership:
- Lead the project management team in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of mega-sized development projects.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, resources, and quality control measures to ensure project objectives are met.
- Implement best practices and methodologies in project management to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Multi-Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project portfolios, tracking progress and addressing any issues or risks that may arise across projects.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a multidisciplinary project management team, including project managers, engineers, architects, and other professionals.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and facilitate communication across different hierarchies within the team.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, investors, government authorities, and internal leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project goals and objectives.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Monitor project performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- More than 20 years of experience in project management, with a focus on real estate development projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sizable projects, including mega-sized developments.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience leading teams with diverse hierarchies.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are a plus
