An international company located in Commonwealth is seeking a Supply Chain Executive on permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Supports daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources to meet operational goals.
- Maintain warehouse safety and security: Ensure a safe and secure working environment by enforcing company policies and procedures, conducting regular warehouse inspections.
- Generate ERP transactions (Goods Receiving, Delivery Note, Pick List, Stock Transfer, Goods Issue, Commercial Invoice) and ensure accuracy of information and supporting documents.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Handle imports/exports shipments, coordinate the inbound, outbound and transshipment and preparation of shipping documents and ensure proper filing of supporting documents upon completion of each import/export shipments.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs while meeting delivery schedules.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., project, procurement,) to manage order processing and fulfilment.
- Address and resolve order discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfilment.
- Maintain clear communication channels to update stakeholders on order status and resolve issues proactively.
- Implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Develop and implement inventory replenishment strategies based on demand forecasts and sales trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive supply chain optimization projects.
- Prepare reports, statistics to the managements per request.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Marine Industry for supplies and services
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Class 3 driving license
- Knowledge of SAPB1 will be an advantage.
- Forklift license will be an advantage.
