Responsibilities:
- Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing
- Create design specifications, documentation, and material lists
- Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations
- Developing technical reports for engineers
- Receive detailed project specifications and requirements from customers.
- Understand the scope of work, materials to be used, and deadlines.
- Analyse customers drawings and specifications provided by the team.
- Clarify any uncertainties or discrepancies with the engineering team before proceeding.
Requirement:
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Update drawings as modifications or changes are requested or implemented.
- Assist in quality control processes by reviewing drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure that final drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing and assembly teams during production.
- Address design-related inquiries or issues that arise during fabrication.
- Participate in design reviews and meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Interpreting customer requirements, facilitating effective communication with technical teams, general workers, and quality control.
