Assistant Manager - Risk & Compliance

  1. Prepare, review, and negotiate various legal documents, correspondences with external parties, SOPs and policies.
  2. Guide the various departments and business units to implement and/or draft SOPs and policies.
  3. Handle litigation/legal cases by liaising with internal stakeholders and external lawyers engaged by the company.
  4. Provide legal advice and support to various departments and business units on matters related to contracts, regulatory compliance and risk management.
  5. Conduct legal research to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Advise management on the implications of new laws and regulations and recommend necessary actions.
  7. Evaluate compliance to rules, regulations, SOPs and policies.
  8. Maintain and update database of existing and new agreements, SOPs and policies.
  9. Liaise with Corporate Secretary for corporate governance matters.
  10. Assist in all analysis and reporting required by the company and/or the parent company.
  11. Improve the company’s internal control compliance management and legal risk control system design, establishment and maintenance work.
  12. General administration, reporting and filing tasks.

Requirements:

  1. Preferably Law / Property Management / Business graduate
  2. Experience in contract review management or work as an in-house legal counsel
  3. Proactive, strives for continuous improvement
  4. Ability to work independently, with integrity and responsibility
  5. Multi-task and excellent organization skills, ability to meet deadlines
  6. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
