Work Location: Chin Bee/Raffles Place
Working days: 5.5 days per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 5 pm & Saturday: 8 am to 12 pm
Monthly Salary: S$4,000
Key Responsibilities:
A. Production Management
- Plan and oversee the daily production schedule for all bakery items.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods.
- Develop new recipes and refine existing ones.
B. Quality Control
- Implement and maintain high standards for food safety and hygiene.
- Conduct reg.ular quality checks on products.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
C. Inventory and Supplies
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Place orders and ensure timely delivery of ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
D. Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and sales.
- Prepare reports on production efficiency and sales performance.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
E. Leadership
- Supervise and train baking staff.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing feedback.
Job Requirements:
- A professional diploma or a degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Technical Pastry Art, Hotel Management, or a related major.
- Minimum 3 years of bakery experience in pastry cooking or Pastry Chef experience with high-volume food production.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work with a dynamic team at all levels.
- Ability to establish mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
