Job Scope:
We are currently looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Salesforce Business Group, with the focus on Salesforce projects. You will be working on a project basis in a multi-disciplinary team engaged in a wide range of Salesforce projects.
Candidates for this role should possess a knowledge of Marketing Cloud & the application landscape around it. The Salesforce Business Analyst supports the implementation from proposal to delivery. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements then applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of Salesforce to design an optimal solution that supports the business process and meets/exceeds functional requirements.
This position builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them to the adoption of the best solution. Specifically, this role guides teams that will successfully deliver the Salesforce project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver, oversee, and ensure quality of Salesforce implementation projects from start to finish on time and within budget.
- Perform “As-Is” and gap analysis to map the cloud technology’s offerings and capabilities to the client's business needs.
- Work closely with technical architects to make the bridge between the business team and IT team.
- Present and lead sessions and requirement workshops, based on Agile delivery methods.
- Has sufficient knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud technology to make adequate design decisions and propose solutions to requirements based on industry & technology best practices.
- Apply specific functional knowledge of marketing applications to help guide the design and implementation of the solution.
- Understand the importance of Salesforce solutions integrated with the Sales Cloud via connector.
- Participate in the creation and execution of test plans, strategies, and communications (e.g., requirement traceability, test scripts, test data requirements, defect management).
- Coordinate releases and post go-live materials (e.g., training documentation, training sessions).
- Design and create training materials (e.g., job aids, reference guides, training manuals).
- Oversee the management of project documentation.
- Participate in client-facing meetings and documenting key decisions and action items.
- Keep informed of the latest technology trends and innovations especially in the areas of marketing automation, marketing resource management, digital asset management, web content management, mobile, and social media.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in any discipline of Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, etc.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner or equivalent in Agile projects.
- Holds Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification.
- Experience working with relevant Marketing solutions.
- Has 2-3 years of experience in delivering Salesforce implementation projects.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience eliciting high-level business requirements and creating detailed functional specifications as well as other documentations like requirement traceability matrixes, work-flow diagrams and use-cases.
- Ability to lead a team and client meetings, and to clearly articulate the solution being developed with all the stakeholders along with the ability to walk stakeholders through marketing solutions.
- Experience working with Agile methodology.
- Experience in a consulting environment with demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity and innovation.
- Certification in Salesforce Admin (CRT101) and Scrum Master is highly preferrable.
