Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, with a specific focus on cross-border operations in Southeast Asia.
- Ensure compliance with regional taxation laws and regulations, and manage all tax-related activities.
- Oversee cross-border payment processes and ensure adherence to specific country withdrawing and finance reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management, based on detailed financial analysis and modeling.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Support and guide the company through Series A or B funding rounds, leveraging prior experience to optimize financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a focus on managing cross-border teams in Southeast Asia.
- Proven expertise in regional taxation, cross-border payments, and country-specific financial reporting requirements.
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience in developing and implementing financial strategies.
- Prior experience with companies that have undergone Series A or B funding rounds.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
