ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Aj Jetting Pte. Ltd.

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Developing financial forecasts and projections.
  • Analysing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
  • Assessing financial performance against key business metrics.
  • Creating and managing budgets across departments or projects.
  • Identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Preparing regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Presenting financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assessing and managing financial risks and exposures.
  • Developing strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Monitoring external factors such as economic trends and regulatory changes that may impact the organization's financial position.
  • Leading and managing a team of finance professionals.
  • Providing coaching and development opportunities to team members.
  • Ensuring the finance team operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Coordinating audits and addressing audit findings.
  • Implementing internal controls to safeguard financial assets
  • Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
  • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
  • Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
  • Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the specific department.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team that provides leadership and direction.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel and skills in Access..
  • Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.

Person Specification:

  • Strong educational background with tertiary and postgraduate qualifications with an emphasis on finance
  • Prefer to knowledge in ERP Cute office software
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience relevant field.
  • Managerial and leadership experience combined with business exposure and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Well-developed and proven analytical skills
  • Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Superb organizational ability
