What you'll do:
As a Commodities Reporting Analyst, you will be immersed in the exciting world of chemical and polymer markets. Your primary responsibility will be reporting on daily physical trading activity, producing prices by gathering information from various market contacts. You will also write daily commentaries explaining price-driving trends and create real-time news stories. Your role will extend beyond reporting; you'll engage with market participants, build a robust database of industry contacts, and identify opportunities for growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make their mark in the commodities sector.
- Report on daily physical trading activity to produce prices by gathering information from a range of contacts in the market
- Write daily commentaries explaining the trends driving prices
- Create real-time news stories and participate in multi-media coverage such as webinars and presentations
- Engage with market participants while building and managing a database of industry contacts
- Identify opportunities to refine methodology, research new markets, develop contacts within those markets and launch new price assessments
