The role requires the incumbent to communicate and coordinate closely with engineers and managers to manage machine programs, network, and software.
The individual will also be responsible for managing factory software and hardware assets, ensuring smooth operations and implementing innovative systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate and coordinate closely with Japan engineers and managers regarding machine programs, networks, and software.
- Coordinate with internal ISD and external vendors for machine networking and software updates.
- Manage the factory software and hardware assets inventory, providing regular updates to management.
- Work closely with ISD, SGTC, and the Smart Factory Team to implement innovative systems that support productivity and quality.
- Control factory IT networking, machine programs, and server data maintenance to ensure continuous smooth operations.
- Implement IoT solutions for factory processes lacking network connections.
Job Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Science Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in factory IT networking and machine programming.
- Other Requirements:Able to manage factory machine programs, networking, and IT system updates.
Proficient in project management, machinery software control, and server data control.
Skilled in programming languages including Python, R, and SQL.
Work independently and self-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Possess good interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure with tight delivery schedules.
Able to travel overseas for project assignments.
