Job Summary
Reporting to the Head, National Teams Management, the Executive, National Teams Management is responsible in assisting in the operational running of administrative and logistical issues related to National Teams training (priority to the National Women’s A team), matches and competitions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative
· To liaise with FIFA, AFC, foreign MAs, SNOC, WPL/NL Competitions to ensure that all registration procedures and formalities are performed and completed in advance for the National Teams.
· To ensure that all travel arrangements including application of leave for players and part-time officials, air-tickets, visa applications, accommodation, travel insurance, travel allowance, and other team documents (e.g. travel info, rooming list, team-list, etc.) are in order before the National Teams’ departure.
· To assist and prepare the necessary documents (e.g. cash advance statement, submission of boarding passes) when team returns from overseas travel.
· To keep a record of matches played, including goals and cautions for tournaments (e.g. FIFA/AFC tournaments) as well as players’ National “A” Team Caps record;
· To ensure that the necessary applications and documents are completed and submitted on time to continue being eligible for SportSG support services.
· To work closely with Football Sports Science and Medicine department to ensure that players needs are met (eg nutrition, hygiene, injury prevention, match analysis, etc).
· To prepare the necessary training schedule and disseminate to the relevant parties (e.g. coaches, support staff, corporate communications, etc.).
· To liaise between National Team players and our sponsors and events.
· To monitor the well-being of National Team players and their social media behaviour.
Logistics
· To ensure that the equipment and apparel orders are in place and delivered when required.
· To keep an inventory record of the equipment and apparel that have been delivered and provide the necessary product code and quantity if top-up order is required.
· To work on the logistics preparation of equipment and supplies when necessary.
Players’ Welfare
· To work on the Players Welfare Programme and a Post Career Plan and implement it for the benefit of the players.
· To work together with the Coach Education Department in updating the latest Coaching Course dates as well as registration paperwork for current and past players.
Any other duties as assigned by the Head National Teams Management , Technical Director, and/or the General Secretary.
