- Running a baking operation and overseeing other bakers
- As a Head / Lead baker you are responsible to produce a full range of breads using the company’s recipe specifications
- Responsible for the consistency and presentation of the products
- Ensure adherence to the quality of food items according to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) guidelines in place.
- Always observe and adhere to the standards of safety and hygiene for production, kitchen and culinary work area
- Ensure maintenance and sanitize baking utensils, tools and machinery
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a bakery setting
- Experience of handling bakery equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety, and basic food hygiene practices
- Able to display leadership skills with excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of managing order and inventory
- Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Be punctual and well disciplined
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- · Must be able to work night shift and split shift
- · Must be able to work extra hours or weekend if needed
