Network Technician (1 year direct contract)

The Network Technician is responsible for installing, amending, and removing unnecessary cablings and other network peripherals.

The activities may include but not limited to:

• Install well-functioning computer networks, connections, and cabling.
• Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.
• Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs.
• Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
• Evaluate network performance and find ways of improvement

Technical Experience

• Experienced in Layer 1 Physical administration in enterprise DC and Port Environment.
• Responsibilities Analyzing, troubleshooting, and correcting network problems remotely/on-site
• Maintaining an inventory of network equipment along with their specifications
• Troubleshooting problems with computers, printers, network devices, or other network components to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide support for Level 1 escalated issues.
• Performing standard or project change request as per change window (non-business hours)
• Performs any other related duties as assigned by the team lead/manager.

Environmental Condition

1. Temperature (Check the location of the temperature and inform the authority or our engineer)
2. Other Environmental Factors (Dust, Dirt etc.), if Duty then need to clean the rack or space where device is located.
3. Physical Health of Device (Randomly need to check the device health).
4. AGV Preventive Maintenance.
5. Rack Mount and Dismount (Installation, Removal and Addition)

Labelling

1. Labelling Condition (verify labelling of device if not okay then need to relabel the device.

Skills for Success

• Diploma in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hands-on experience with common software and hardware installation and deployment
