What You’ll Do
- Resolve and close incident tickets, including identifying root cause (RCA) to prevent future occurrences.
- Deliver project requests (e.g., platform migrations, BCM planning and execution) to enhance infrastructure stability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and proactively improve infrastructure stability and scalability.
- Own and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operations and managing conflict and risks associated with them for effective resolution.
- Maintain and optimize the UNIX infrastructure, contributing to service capacity planning, monitoring, change management, operational improvements, and automation for streamlined IT operations.
- Provide cloud administration expertise for a robust and scalable IT environment.
What Will Make You Shine
- Minimum Diploma/Degree with 5+ years of hands-on experience administering RHEL (6/7/8) and Solaris systems in a large enterprise environment (preferably Banking & Financial).
- Expertise in system administration tools: LVM, Kerberos, AD, DNS, LDAP, networking, storage, and security.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL principles for incident, problem, and change management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze problems and design effective solutions.
