Technician, (Facilities & Utilities):
As a technician, you are tasked to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant facilities and utilities equipment to meet HSE, quality and productivity standards as per the company guidelines for the execution of an effective equipment maintenance program.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance work in accordance with SOPs and Job Plans generated from the preventative and corrective maintenance management system. Ensure that all PM plans are executed without any overdue maintenance.
• Carry out unscheduled troubleshooting of facilities and utilities equipment (WFI/RO/Clean Steam/Compressed Air/HVAC/Black Utilities) within a GMP, high volume aseptic manufacturing environment.
• Daily monitoring of the facilities and utilities systems thru SCADA, BAS and on site.
• Strict adherence to cGMP and GDP (SOPs, PMs, CMs, etc.). Reporting any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Strict adherence to all site safety requirements and focus on opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors / vendors in the execution of their duties to ensure maintenance services or equipment improvement projects (Installation and modification) are successfully carried out.
• Participation in 5S (& maintain), equipment and/ or process continuous improvement (CI) projects, with the use of system trend analysis where applicable.
• Ability to work odd hours in supporting maintenance work, production activities and plant shutdown activities.
• Support plant equipment commissioning activities for any new installation as required.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by Supervisor.
What is Required:
• Prior experience in a Boiler operation with Boiler attendant certification
• Preferably in electrical background with good knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation.
• Experience in black and clean utilities system.
