We are seeking a compassionate individual who is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors within our community. He / She will lead the startup and oversee the active aging programs following our H.A.P.P.Y framework, fostering a supportive and connected environment for seniors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Start-up and oversee programs and operations of multiple sites for senior activities.
- Develop and implement an annual calendar of active aging programs for seniors with various frailty statuses.
- Collaborate with the Cluster Lead to develop strategic plans for Silvercare.
- Encourage community development by identifying the strengths of seniors and promoting self-initiated support groups.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with community partners to meet seniors’ needs effectively.
- Develop plans to recruit, engage, and train volunteers to provide meaningful volunteer experiences.
- Establish volunteer roles tailored to seniors' abilities and interests.
- Coordinate with internal departments to plan and execute intergenerational activities
- Develop outreach plans for seniors and expand program reach.
- Establish SOPs and referral processes in collaboration with other care providers.
- Manage the budget for the operation of centres and programs.
- Compile data and management reporting
Requirements:
- Degree, preferably with 4 to 6 years experience in eldercare.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about serving the seniors.
- Experience in team management will be advantageous.
- Resourceful, proactive, adaptable, responsible, and client-centric.
- Strong collaborative and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in digital skills.
- Service-oriented with proficiency in English, Mandarin, and/or dialects for effective communication with seniors and stakeholders.
