Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting financial analysis, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
- Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored financial advice and solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth execution of financial initiatives and projects.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Minimum 1 year of progressive audit experience, or experience in providing Accounting services (bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, accounting advise etc) in or mid-tier accounting firm.
- Experience in financial statement preparation preferred
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial concepts
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, XERO accounting software and report writing software
- Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites
