The Development Lead is responsible for overseeing the development team from the vendor (our ERP / OKR partner) and internal dev team and ensuring the successful delivery of the software implementation projects with our manufacuting partners. This role involves managing team members, coordinating with other departments, and implementing best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee software implementation projects at our MSMEs in India.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Technical Expertise:Provide technical direction and decision-making in software architecture and design.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and UX/UI design.
Facilitate effective communication between team members and other departments.
- Problem Solving:Identify and resolve technical challenges and risks.
Analyze and improve existing systems for performance and scalability.
Key Requirements:
- Atleast 6+ years experience in software implementation projects in multi-cultural and multi- software environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Cardlink Development
- Knowledge of COBOL / CICS
