Responsibities:
- Maintain internal system platform and client devices, and proactively plan for improvement of quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Demonstrate good knowledge and technical proficiency in server platform such as Windows Server, Linux and VMware.
- Be the first point of contact for our clients as a knowledge expert and provide first pass and who owns the both the AWS infrastructure, Information Security and controls, data controls and access questions and clarifications from the clients.
- Cloud Architectural discussions with our clients on varioua products and services
- Must have experience in integration - Expectation is that they can cover typical integrations with Actimize solutions (Survelix (priority), AML and Fraud)
- Can troubleshoot performance related issues with clients
- Clear understanding of ITIL Change,Problem and Incident management frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Possess fundamental knowledge of security and vulnerability-based approach to security hardening.
- Hands-on experience in VMware, Windows Server and standard platform Monitoring
- Candidates will need to coordinate and work closely with other parts of IT and the business to implement recommendations as needed.
- Administer, monitor, and maintain security infrastructure (Patch, Upgrade, and Monitor for issues).
- Significant understanding and ability to work with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Experience in scripting and software development, Python, Bash, PowerShell or other relevant languages.
- Automate tasks leveraging automation platforms or scripting.
- Occasionally work with databases to extract data or implement processes leveraging MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Daily administrative tasks such as, report on tasks, coordinate with individuals as needed, and escalate issues where required.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve network and security issues.
- Be a security advocate for other teams and help individuals and projects as needed.
- Manage and administer several different types of Firewalls.
- Strong hands on experience and knowledge with firewalls and other various network, endpoint, or cloud security tools.
- Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of cybersecurity trends, issues, and hacking techniques.
- Ability to work after hours if needed.
Must have relevant experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes preferably from Java background
