Job Summary
The Marketing & Communication Executive will play a critical role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of SIDS. This position involves developing and executing marketing strategies, managing communications, and engaging with various stakeholders to promote SIDS's initiatives and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote SIDS's events, programs, and initiatives.
- Content Creation: Create compelling content for various channels, including social media, website, newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow SIDS's social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Event Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns for events, including webinars, workshops, conferences, and award ceremonies.
- Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to secure coverage and enhance the organization's public image.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all communications and marketing materials.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with members, sponsors, and partners to foster strong relationships and support for SIDS's initiatives.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in SIDS's marketing efforts.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide regular reports to the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role. Experience in the design or creative industry is a plus.
- Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
Ability to create engaging content for various platforms.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
