Job Purpose:
The Overseas Operations Support serves as a crucial contributor to the management of HR Operations for the NTI group of companies regionally, excluding China. The primary focus is to support the HR Director in running the organization, establishing best practices, and actively contributing to the enhancement of existing HR processes for efficient management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform the full spectrum of HR functions, not limited to payroll and insurance and also to act as Benefits advisory and support for all NTI’s regional offices except China.
- Administer and coordinate benefits enrolment and renewals, leave of absence, worker’s compensation processes, health insurance, retirement plans, training, and other fringe benefits.
- Conduct market reviews to design strategies for proposals ensuring Company benefits packages and policies are compliant.
- Manage and process payroll & benefits and handle employee-related issues for regional offices.
- Ensure local compliance with employment laws, regulations, and other statutory HR requirements.
- Deliver HR Operational tasks efficiently within service level agreements (SLAs), including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, transfer, assignments, employment pass, and HR queries.
- Develop effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors (outsourcing service partners) to achieve seamless operations.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Work with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
- Communicate and educate employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Compile and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports on HR activities, trends, and metrics for management.
- Assist in other ad-hoc HR duties as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource/Business Admin or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years' Human Resource experience, with prior HR generalist/business partnering experience for a commercial team in JPAC being an advantage.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
