Responsibilities:
- Attend to technical matters at site by developing solutions to problems with the application of engineering concepts, practices and techniques.
- Planning of work and recourses with particular reference to work program to ensure timely progress.
- Close coordination with sub-contractors, supervisors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, foremen and to ensure effective teamwork.
- Provides relevant information and reports to Project Manager regularly.
- To liaise with consultants on the day to day inspection on site.
- To sort out discrepancies and other detailing problems in the construction works with the consultants and superiors.
- Implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as so defined in the Company's Quality System and QSHE requirement.
- Assist project manager to prepare daily/weekly and monthly site reports and submit to the planning department.
- Assist project manager to prepare all related documents before any commencement of any works at site including: Method statements
- Material submission in order to get approval from supervising consultants before they can be used at site.
- Preliminary drawings/shop drawings before the consultant can come out with detailed drawings.
- Permit to work by internal parties such as Safety, QAQC and Environmental departments.
- Liaise with Design and Technical Department in order to get drawings for construction.
- Assist and liaise with Approval Department in order to get all the permits to work by local authorities or third parties.
- Attend weekly progress meetings and prepare minutes of meetings
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board
- At least 10 years working experience in civil engineering/infrastructure projects (preferred LTA Projects)
