We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in ServiceNow projects. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements for ServiceNow projects.
- Design and develop scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, NodeJS, and AngularJS.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules and applications according to best practices.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and third-party applications using web services and REST APIs.
- Optimize ServiceNow applications for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug ServiceNow applications, identifying and resolving technical issues as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are maintained across projects.
- Develop documentation, including design specifications, deployment instructions, and release notes.
- Stay updated with ServiceNow platform upgrades and new features, evaluating and recommending enhancements to current systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to deploy and manage ServiceNow applications on AWS cloud services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow development and customization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS, and AngularJS for developing web-based applications.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment practices.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, etc.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification (preferred).
