Responsibilities
• Study user requirements / user stories, acceptance criteria, and software requirement specification.
• Attend Requirements and Information Architecture review sessions when necessary.
• Identify interdependencies, ambiguities in documentation and make suggestions to improve requirements and optimize usability
• Create test plan; define testing method, exit criteria, measurement and review with stakeholders.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for the testing phase, such as test coverage, defect
densities, mean time to resolution, etc., to measure and enhance the testing process's effectiveness.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date test documentation and providing training to other teams about the testing processes and tools used, enhancing the overall testing capability of the organization.
• Draft & review test scenarios with stakeholders
• Execute and validate test cases in end-to-end testing in relation to functional operation and UI
elements, report on test results within specified timeframe and ensure that results are documented correctly for sign-off.
• Report on Defects, ensure traceability of defects, and discuss issues with developers
• Assess readiness for project deployment recommendation based on test results
• Perform “live” or post deployment validation when required
