Responsibilities:
- Perform daily P&L report production and P&L decomposition.
- Provide commentary on significant P&L drivers and relating it to the business strategies of the desks.
- Monitoring of new deals, late deals and market operations.
- Monitoring checks for transactions done at off market rates and arrive at justifications/reasons for entering these transactions.
- Exceptions monitoring on Reported P&L vs trader estimates and breaches on threshold limits for unexplained P&L attributions.
- Reconciliation of P&L between management reporting vs general ledger.
- General Ledger (GLAO) certification on balance sheet accounts.
- Room wide & desk level reserves computation
- Significant month-to-date P&L drivers.
- Reporting of key risk and performance indicators for credit derivatives/interest rate derivative (IRD) desks.
- Streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency within the team.
- Review control processes for gaps.
- Assist in responding to internal and external audit requests for credit/IRD desks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance, Accountancy or in any related majors.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in Finance or Accounting role.
- Proficient in handling adhoc queries from front office/risk management/finance.
- Excellent skills in forecasting, risk mitigation and achievement of financial goals.
- Good Knowledge of revenue recognition, cost accruals, forecast discussion, and stakeholder management.
- Able to build relationships within the business and help them to achieve their goals.
