Job Duties:
- Lead and support project, conducting thorough root cause analysis of identified control gaps to mitigate operational risks.
- Collaborate with Operations Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement remediation plans for identified control gaps, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Document project artifacts including Target Operating Models, Business Requirements Documents, User Stories, and Test Cases to support project deliverables and enhance risk management practices.
- Define clear requirements, prepare comprehensive testing plans, and oversee execution to ensure quality and completeness of project artifacts, focusing on risk reduction and compliance.
- Manage day-to-day project responsibilities, including milestone setting, task and action management, coordination, and execution within required timelines and stakeholder expectations, emphasizing proactive risk management.
- Assess and proactively manage project risks and issues, identifying potential challenges early and implementing effective mitigation strategies or escalating as necessary.
- Support and manage ad-hoc business queries and requirements, providing timely and accurate responses while considering potential risk implications.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders, actively participating in working groups, steering committees, and workshops to promote risk-aware decision-making and compliance.
- Identify key project risks, whether explicit or implicit, and drive resolution or escalation as appropriate to ensure effective risk mitigation.
- Operate with independence and autonomy, applying sound judgment and attention to detail in making data-driven recommendations that prioritize risk reduction and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while promoting transparency in managing and reporting control issues to safeguard organizational reputation and assets.
