Office of Population Health (OPH) aims to improve health outcomes of women & children population in Singapore through engagements with multi-sector partners to create mindshare, as well as to develop, implement, evaluate and mainstream health promotion, disease prevention, early detection and intervention programs. OPH also oversees the various maternal and child population health programmes in KKH and supports MOH’s and SingHealth in driving HealthierSG initiatives.
The Assistant Manager reporting to Assistant Director, OPH, will coordinate and assist to support the development, implementation, and operationalise Population Health programmes in collaboration with the various Steering Committees (SCs), councils, workgroups, internal and external stakeholders to transform Maternal and Child Health (MCH) in Singapore.
Job Requirements
- Degree with 6 years of relevant experiences (supervisory experiences would be an advantage)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with staff across job levels and from different professional domains while being sensitive to cultural diversity, healthcare nuances and varied schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e., Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good planning, organising, negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management and presentation skills
- Ability to handle dynamic environment
- Good problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities
