Report to Project Director / Project Manager / WSH Manager
Overall responsible for the development and implementation of Safety, Health, Environmental & Security policies and ensure that site operates in accordance with applicable statutory & regulatory requirements.
Be the Secretary of the Safety Committee and ensure that safety and environment meetings are held in accordance to regulatory requirements.
Report the Safety, Health, Environmental & Security aspects to Project Director.
Conduct risk assessments.
Investigate all Industrial accidents.
Coordinate and conduct Safety, Health, Environmental & Security training at all levels on site and head office.
Conduct regular Safety, Health, and Environmental & Security inspection and recommend corrective action.
Arrange independent Safety audit and follow-up on corrective action.
Liaise with BCA on OHSAS 18000 and ISO 14000 Certification.
Liaise with respective Authorities on matters related to Safety, Health, Environmental & Security issues.
Establish site security plan in conjunction with Project Director / Project Manager.
Organize & manage the security team and monitor the implementation of security plan.
Prepare monthly security report for all projects and submit to Project Director / Project Manager / Construction Manager for review.
Ensure no illegal workers are working on / staying on job site (including Sub-contractors).
Total 15 years experience in construction field and minimum 10 years experience in the relevant position.
Bachelor of Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety
Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health & Environmental Management
LTA experience preferred
Able to work on rotating shift work, if necessary.
